About Me

Isabel Bilotta, M.A.
Ph.D. Student in I-O Psychology
Rice University
Welcome to my website and thanks for taking the time to learn more about my work!
My research advances understanding of the interplay between workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion. This requires a multilevel approach, one that takes into account how diverse groups relate to one another, and further demonstrates how social dynamics influence meaningful organizational outcomes. Several of my projects examine the role that leaders play in effective diversity management.
During my graduate studies at Rice, I have co-authored nine peer-reviewed journal articles, presented at several national conferences (including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Academy of Management annual meetings), and earned a 3.88 cumulative GPA.
I have extensive statistical skills (e.g., machine learning, factor analysis, multilevel modeling, regression, ANOVA), enabling me to develop innovative projects and accurately assess their value for stakeholders. I enjoy working with large organizational data sets and have several years of experience working with R.
I have consulted with NASA's Behavioral Performance Group for over two years, became certified as a leadership coach via the Doerr Institute's CoachRICE 2020-2021 program, work as the Rice University SONA Administrator, supported the development and instruction of a short course on Leading Workforce Diversity through Rice University's Jones School of Business and 2U, and am also an assistant editor at the Journal of Business and Psychology.
